New Hotspots in Hoboken For Summer

Blog Editor

We all know that Hoboken has some of the best restaurants and bars in Hudson County.  This summer Harlow residents can look forward to some new establishments opening just minutes from their apartment.

Pici Pasta Bar – You don’t have to travel to Italy to enjoy fresh pasta and ingredients. If you love authentic Italian pastas, then this is the place for you! On their menu you’ll find fresh pasta, focaccia sandwiches, and salads. They’ll serve classics such as Pappardelle Porcini, fresh pasta with vodka sauce, Rigatoni Bolognese and much more.

The Winston – The Winston, inspired by its namesake Winston Churchill, came to be when the owners wanted to create something unique in Hoboken.  They are taking over the Scotland Yard venue and will be keeping the British phone booth outside. This venue was perfect for the look they were going for; brick walls, dimly lit and not too big.  The Winston will serve craft cocktails and have a speakeasy vibe.  Harlow residents can follow them on social media for updates on their opening.

Prato Bakery – The official Prato Bakery in Hoboken opened on Saturday, July 14th.  The new space took over the old Koro Koro location at 2nd and Wash.  Prato Bakery originated as a New York City location and expanded from the streets of Manhattan to Jersey in 2010 — without losing its sense of deep-rooted history and tradition.  Prato serves authentic Italian treats such as sweet and savory biscuits, cookies and delicious baked breads and focaccia. They also have outstanding coffee!
